Interesting facts on Bubbimals
Written by Luigi.
A little bit less than a month ago we released our iPhone and Android game Bubbimals. Thanks to Flurry we have collected some interesting data about the users of the game:

Dolphin

  • On average players launched the game twice in a day

  • The average session length was 115 seconds on par with the average of all games tracked by Flurry (111 seconds per session)

  • 43% of the players are in North America, 26% in Asia, 13% in Europe

  • The top three European countries enjoying the game are the United Kingdom (25%), Italy (25%), France (15%)

  • 16% of the game sessions were done on iPad

  • The most selling in app purchase is the A-Z Bubbimals Pack

When it comes to animal choices, objectively you would expect an even split but it is not the case, with some bubbimals a lot more popular than others.

Unlocking bubbimals the favourites are:

  • Billy Bear (13%)

  • Dillan Dolphin (12%)

  • Chloe Cow (8%)

The least unlocked bubbimal and unsurprisingly least selected Bubbimal is Ulrika Urial. Perhaps because no-one knows what on earth they are (even we struggled to find a decent "U" animal).

The most used bubbimals in Popit mode are:

  • Alma Armadillo (44% but that is an easy win as she is unlocked at the start of the game)

  • Dillan Dolphin (10%)

  • Billy Bear (8%)

  • Chloe Cow (5%)

  • Zara Zebra (3%)

Juggle mode has a similar top 5 most used bubbimals chart apart from having Henry Hamster in fifth place instead of Zara Zebra.

We can then easily say that the most favourite bubbimal is Dillan Dolphin! Is it because he is the central character in the app icon?

For the number of apps downloaded we actually have very few reviews, but the few we have are positive. Given the target audience we were reticent to keep popping up prompts to get people to review the game, but I think we should have a go at putting in a review prompt at an appropriate point (possibly when people are feeling good about playing and see if that makes a difference to review numbers).
If you have not tried the game yet, get it here for free.
